Trail Stewards

Do you regularly walk the trails at the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center? And are you interested in helping to maintain public trails in coastal areas?

Trail Steward volunteers walk trails, pick up trash, report on wildlife sightings, trail misuse and needed repairs. Trail Stewards may also participate in periodic trail workdays. This program currently exists at the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center with plans to expand to other areas.

Training can be arranged on an individual basis to meet your schedule needs. We'll make sure you know all the trails and have the minimal supplies and information you need. For more information, contact denise@friendsofthedunes.org or call 444-1397.
