It is possible to arrange alternative field trips on Fridays tailored to meet your needs and the needs of your students. These field trips can:

Be for older or younger students than the 2nd-6th graders we serve through Bay to Dunes, Ocean Day and Adopt a Dune
Take place at alternative locations
Be scheduled to fit your time constraints, such as starting later or lasting only a half day
Be focused on a particular topic or area of interest

Before you call to arrange a special trip, please take the following into consideration:

Due to the extra planning time and the need to arrange for field trip guides to come out on an alternative day, there is a $5 per child fee and scholarship funds are currently unavailable for specially arranged field trips
Priority for bus funding is given to schools attending our regular field trip programs, but may be available for alternative field trips on a limited basis
There is a limit of 25 students for alternative field trips
Alternative field trips must be arranged at least 2 weeks before the field trip date
We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate you as we will need to ensure that we have guides available and that the date you request is free
